They can be either private or public. Private lists are only visible to the user who created them, whereas public lists are visible to everyone in the user's network. This allows people to create lists that are only relevant to them, as well as lists that can be shared with others.

In terms of content creator monetization, the ability to create lists can open up possibilities for creators to earn in a number of ways. For example, a user who has a large and engaged audience might be able to set a fee through Lens Modules to other users for access to their private lists.
